Getting red wine out of carpet? - clean red wine from carpet
I fell a little wine in my red carpet Sunday night. I have Oxy Clean stain and 409, Carpet Shampooer I also tested. The spot is better. But does anyone other big idea?

This works best if it is done immediately. First remove any excess with a paper towel. Mix a few ounces of hydrogen peroxide with a few drops (1 teaspoon) of liquid detergent in a spray bottle. Spray and wipe until the stain disappears. Works in white / bright carpets, upholstery and clothing. Color test for textiles and fabrics in an inconspicuous place first.
Try pouring a little vodka and work on the stain, then vacuum the carpet cleaning in excess. You can also try alcohol, if you do not have vodka. Neither can a smell after drying.
